Job Posting: Sunday Morning Driver
Beaconsfield United Church is seeking to contract someone on Sunday mornings to help in conveying members who live far from the church to and from the church building.
Hours and Duties: This role will consist of 3 hours of work per week on Sunday mornings, split into two 90-minute shifts with a 90 minute break in between. The driver will be picking up participants from designated locations and bringing them to the church, from 8:20 am to 9:50 am, and then picking them up from the church and returning them to the pick-up locations between 11:20 am to 12:50 am. The driver will also need to make themselves available for periodic communication on Friday and Saturday about the routes and passengers for Sunday morning.
Qualifications:
-Have access to a minivan or other large-capacity passenger vehicle
-Have a valid Quebec driver’s license and a clean driving record for the past 12 months.
-Be able to provide 2-3 references
Remuneration:
-$70 per week. This is intended to provide compensation for both driver time and fuel costs.
